Amber has spent the last 18 years working in graduate education at Georgia State University (GSU), where she has worked directly with recruitment, enrollment, program development, student advising, communications and students information management systems. She can also be found volunteering at GSU’s Women Lead program, a professional signature experience that equips undergraduate female students with skills, knowledge and networking opportunities needed to get a seat at the table among industry leaders.
While it is Amber’s first year on the board, it is her daughter’s fifth year at FSA. She and her wife chose FSA because of the school’s values-based education and the focus on social and emotional growth. Amber values not only the things her daughter has gained in the classroom, but also what her entire family has gained by being part of this community with shared values.
Amber joins the board this year as a way to give back to FSA and help the school to continue to sustain, grow and thrive during these unprecedented times.
