The son of two teachers, Chris began a career in education after many years in church ministry. Chris previously taught at Whitefield Academy and Mount Vernon Presbyterian School. Throughout his career he has led classes in theatre, chorus and music technology. In addition to teaching performing arts and chorus classes at FSA, he also leads the drama club. He and his students produce about three performances annually. Chris is continually motivated by the process of helping students become all they can be through collaborative art making. Outside of his work at FSA, he is a music director at a local church and directs the summer theatre camp program for the city of Sandy Springs.
