The son of two teachers, Chris began a career in education after many years in church ministry. Chris previously taught at Whitefield Academy and Mount Vernon Presbyterian School. He also led the summer theatre camp program for the city of Sandy Springs for many years. Throughout his career he has led classes in theatre, general music, chorus and music technology. In addition to teaching music and movement classes at FSA, Chris also leads the drama clubs. He and his students produce 3 to 4 performances annually. Chris is continually motivated by the process of helping students become all they can be through collaborative art making. Outside of his work at FSA, he is a music director at a local church.
