B.A. Economics – Spelman College
Pamela Garvey, a Georgia native and a 3rd generation educator has been teaching for more than 30+ years. Although acquiring her Bachelors Degree of Economics from Spelman College in ’76, Pam fulfilled several teaching roles before stationing herself back at the prestigious institute of Spelman as the sole kindergarten teacher for the MWEC facility. There she honed her skills to the educator she is today and always fostered an environment of excellence, trust and genuine responsibility for the matriculation of any student under her tutelage. Pam joined The FSA community in 2015 and picked up right where she left off with a love for the community and its students. She is currently acquiring her Orton-Gillingham Certification to advance her breadth of experience in alternative needs children. Pamela is an avid reader, solitaire and Mahjong player and a classic southern outdoors woman. You might find her surrounded by ladybugs and jazz.
