The Waman French Scholarship Fund has been established to celebrate and honor the legacy of The Friends School of Atlanta’s founding Head of School, Waman French. The endowment will provide scholarship awards to students based upon financial need and seeks to supplement the school’s longtime and everlasting commitment to access to a Friends education. With the rising cost of education, this endowed fund provides support to our students and families who come from a wide spectrum of financial capabilities.
Since its founding in 1991, The Friends School of Atlanta has offered one of the most robust financial aid programs proportionate to its budget in the metro Atlanta area. This commitment provides approximately one third of FSA families access to a Friends School of Atlanta education each year contributing to fulfilling our school’s mission to create an economically diverse school community.
