Jessica started her teaching career here at Friends School of Atlanta in 2010 while beginning her college education to become a teacher. She started as a substitute teacher, where she was engaged in most areas of the school including subbing in all grades and classrooms, working with specials like physical education, art and music. In 2015, she started working in the FSA aftercare program. Jessica spent two years working with middle school aftercare before moving into the PreK3 classroom.
Interacting with mostly all of the students’ grade levels gave her in depth experience with different age groups. She says that FSA taught her so much about working as an educator and would credit FSA for teaching her so much.
