Community

girls performing at the Variety ShowThe Friends School of Atlanta carries forward a tradition of Quaker education that has been observed for over 325 years and includes a deep commitment to the values of simplicity, peace, integrity, community, equality and stewardship (SPICES).

The principles that Quakers feel build community include nonviolence, consensus building, service and a respect for the gifts each individual brings to the school community. These values and principles can be found not just in the classrooms, but in every aspect of the FSA community.
