The Friends School of Atlanta is accepting applications for mid-year transfers for the 22-23 school year, class space permitting. For more information, including tuition rates for the remainder of the school year, please contact Alexis Garrett, Director of Enrollment.
For the 2023–24 academic year, tuition is as follows:
Age | Tuition |
---|---|
PreK3 | $17,294 |
PreK4 | $21,826 |
K-2nd grade | $25,717 |
3rd-4th grade | $26,333 |
5th–8th grade | $27,395 |
Other Costs
In order to allow for accurate planning, a non-refundable deposit of 15% of total tuition is due with your signed contract.
Aftercare for PreK3-Kindergarten students is included in tuition. Otherwise, Aftercare and After School Club fees are not included in the tuition or activity fees. Aftercare fees for grades 1-8—$18 per day, or $12 per day for families receiving financial aid—are billed separately at the end of each month based on daily usage; Club fees must be paid in advance. Club brochures, with listings and fees, will be announced in the Late Quaking News. The cost of Aftercare following an After School Club is $7.50, or $6 for families receiving financial aid.
Activity Fees
Activity fees are designed to support class field trips and other classroom activities and to relieve the fundraising burden on classroom teachers and parents for these activities. Financial aid does not apply to activity fees; the fee will be added to the financial aid recipient’s total tuition amount. The activity fee for all age groups is $300 and is due in full by June 1, or may be financed along with tuition.
Family Discounts
In an effort to reward and support families with more than one child enrolled, a family discount of three percent (3%) of the second and/or following child’s tuition will be given. When the oldest child graduates, the oldest remaining child will resume payment of full tuition. Financial aid recipients are not eligible for family discounts.
Mid-year Enrollees
After October 14, students entering the school will have their tuition prorated according to the remaining school days of the academic year.
