Amanda discovered she had a love of teaching after working as a yoga instructor. Since then she has been fortunate to be a part of a variety of school settings, including public, private and charter schools. She has worked at Woodward Academy, Trinity School, Sarah Smith Elementary School and The Intown Academy. Amanda has taught kindergarten and has also been an early intervention program teacher, coordinated an International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme and served as a literacy coach. At FSA, Amanda works with individual students as well as groups of students. She also collaborates with teachers to design curriculums and student supports for Elementary students. The best part about her job is helping kids with learning differences recognize their unique superpowers.
