Sara serves as Clerk of the Board of Trustees at FSA and is a member of the Atlanta Friends Meeting. Her son Joe attended FSA for four years, during which time they found a wonderful and welcoming community that supports their family values. She joined the FSA Board in 2019 and is honored to continue serving the school.
Sara works as the Development Manager for the Decatur Housing Authority. She also serves on the Board of the Friends of Georgia Archives and History and is the Vice President of Communications & Membership for the Atlanta Women’s Affordable Housing Network. Sara has a PhD in History from Georgia State University, which she puts to use in numerous community advocacy efforts.
